Nippon Television Network Corporation closed a deal with Incognita Television for the scripted French-language format rights to Nippon TV’s Mother and Woman – My Life for My Children.
Mother centers on one elementary school teacher as she flees the town with a student of hers who has experienced domestic abuse. Woman – My Life for My Children shows a single mother’s journey as she tries to find peace in her life.
Atsushi Sogo, president of International Business Development at Nippon TV, stated, “We are delighted that our highly successful scripted formats are being adapted in France. This marks the first time that these formats will be created in Europe, and we are looking forward to watching our dramas gain a new life and presence in France.”
