Looking Glass International (LGI) secured factual programming sales deals in China.
Streaming platform Youku acquired Deep Time History, Gods in Shackles, and Saving Sirga (pictured). LGI also licensed Making Pandas, Sumatra’s Last Tigers, and Wild Cities to CCTV 9, the documentary channel run by China Central Television (CCTV).
Nha-Uyen Chau, LGI founder and CEO, stated, “We are delighted to announce these sales and offer a range of amazing programs to Chinese audiences. There is huge potential in China and we look forward to continuing to build on our relationships in the region.”
