Brain Power Studio has brought on Eugenio Perez as a co-production partner for Beatrix and Peter.
With past credits including Stan and Ollie and Wild Rose, Perez will serve as executive producer with Brain Bower founder Beth Stevenson. Based on the early life of the British novelist Beatrix Potter, the live-action family series follows the adventures of science-obsessed Beatrix Potter and her rabbit Peter. While it is currently in pre-production, Beatrix and Peter is scheduled to be delivered for 2020.
Stevenson commented, “It is essential that we work with the UK to keep authenticity. Eugenio Perez’s extensive experience with both feature films and children’s TV makes him the perfect partner for this project.”
