Dynamic Television partnered with Essential Media to develop and distribute the new crime drama Troppo.
Based on the novel Crimson Lake by Candice Fox, the TV adaptation follows an ex-cop and a private investigator, both of whom did time for past crimes, as they investigate the death of a local inhabitant. Yolanda Ramke is attached as screenwriter.
Holly Hines, senior vice president of Original Content for Dynamic, remarked, “Yolanda Ramke is an incredibly prolific writer and Essential Media is uniquely suited for this exciting series. With these terrific partners on board, I’m confident that Troppo will be a fantastic addition to our line-up of distinct and original programming.”
