The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will be recognizing Jan Böhmermann as Entertainer of the Year at the 57th Rose d’Or Awards, which will be held in Berlin on September 13, 2018.
The German satirist and TV host is prominently known for his weekly late night series Neo Magazin Royale on ZDF. Last year’s recipient was the talk show host James Corden. This year, awards will be given out for Comedy, Sitcom, Drama Series, and Limited Series & TV Movie, among other categories.
Joanna Lumley will be awarded the Rose d’Or Lifetime Achievement Award for her 50-year career.
