Israel-based Armoza Formats’ docu-reality Marry Me Now has been commissioned for a first season in all 46 countries of sub-Saharan Africa.
Each episode of the series will follow one woman tired of waiting for a ring as she prepares her own wedding in just a few days — all without the prospective groom’s knowledge. On the third day, she’ll ambush him with a proposal. If he says yes, they’ll tie the knot right then and there.
Thirteen episodes of the format will air on 1Magic, one of M-Net’s flagship channels, beginning in November.
