Principal photography for season two of TVO original documentary series Political Blind Date has begun.
The show allows Canadian politicians to explore the opposite sides of serious issues by sending them on a series of “dates” where they try to find common ground with the opposition. The six-part season will explore topics such as indigenous rights, guns, and taxes, among others. Confirmed participants include Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Lisa Raitt; NDP MP Romeo Saganash; Liberal MP Wayne Easter; Conservative MP Larry Miller; and Liberal MP Marco Mendicino. The show is a co-production between Open Door Co. and Nomad Films.
