France Télévisions, M6, and TF1 are joining together to develop a French OTT platform called Salto.
The platform will offer a range of subscription packages that spotlight current events, sports, entertainment, French drama, U.S. series, and documentary programming. A single company, co-owned by all three companies, will operate Salto.
Delphine Ernotte Cunci, chairwoman and CEO of France TV, commented, “I am delighted by the launch of this joint platform, which is a major development for the future of the French broadcasting industry.”
