Keewu Production, part of the Lagardère Studios Group, and Spoof Media will co-produce the short-form project, Area Daddy.
The animated series, developed by Ayodele Elegba, CEO of Spoof Media, was the winning project for the first edition of Digital Lab Africa in 2016. Elegba and Keewu Production director Alexandre Rideau produced a pilot episode of the animated web series in 2017.
Area Daddy tells the story an average African family led by a retired military man who is having a difficult time adjusting to the new age of social upheaval and technological advancement.
