Yesterday evening, the Docaviv Film Festival announced its 20th edition winners at a ceremony that took place at Mindspace in Tel Aviv.

The festival, which began on May 17, continues until May 26, 2018. The Howard Gilman Award For the Best Israeli Documentary Film went to Family in Transition by Ofir Trainin. The Special Jury Award was given to Jane Bibi’s A Perfect Housewife. Uriel Sinai and Danel Elpeleg’s Wild received the award for Best Debut Film. In The Desert – A Documentary Diptych received the Best Cinematography Award for the work of its cinematographer Avner Faingulernt.
