Banijay Rights sold a multi-genre package to U.S. network Ovation. The package deal includes two seasons of Portrait Artist of the Year and two seasons of Landscape Artist of the Year, both originally produced for Sky Arts. Ovation also acquired another arts program, Fake: The Great Masterpiece Challenge. For scripted programming, Ovation picked up the procedural crime drama The Pinkertons. In related company news, Banijay Group appointed Deepak Dhar to lead the newly created division, Banijay Asia.
