The Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) announced the seven shortlisted projects for Operation Greenlight, which will take place as part of the 16th edition of HAF on March 20, 2018. Operation Greenlight is a pitch session to connect Hong Kong filmmakers with potential co-production and funding partners from around the world. The initiative is a collaboration between Create Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Film Development Council (FDC), the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) and HAF. The shortlisted projects include Melanin Slayer by Shadow Hung, Him by Eric Cheung, As We Grow by Jun Li, Before I Met You by Cyrus Cheng and Kenji Lo, Connection by Ho Po-wing, Bird of Paradise Flower by Chuck Wai-man, and Take Two by Dick Liu Kai-chi.
