Norway’s Cinenord and Beta Films are partnering on the WWII series Atlantic Crossing. The eight-part drama centers on the Norwegian Crown Princess Märtha who fled from Nazi occupation and became an influential figure in world politics. The series is also a story of love between the Crown Princess and her husband who were forced to live apart for five years. Produced by Cinenord Drama for NRK, Atlantic Crossing will receive 3.5 million in subsidies through the Norwegian Film Institute’s incentive program.
