The Berlin International Film Festival announced the initial film selection for its 2018 Perspektive Deutsches Kino programming. The first six films are: Johanna Sunder-Plassmann and Tama Tobias-Macht’s draußen (outside); Ben Brummer’s Feierabendbier; Aleksandra Odić’s Kineski zid (Great Wall of China); Sophia Bösch’s Râ; Philipp Eichholtz’s Rückenwind von vorn (Away You Go); and Kolja Malik’s Storkow Kalifornia. The complete program will be revealed in January 2018.
