The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences awarded the winners of the 45th International Emmy Awards last night at a black-tie gala hosted by Maz Jobrani. Discovery Communications CEO David Zaslav presented the Directorate Award to Grupo Televisa president and CEO Emilio Azcárraga Jean. The 11 Emmy statues were presented during the event. Best Performance by an Actor went to Kenneth Branagh in Wallander, Best Performance by an Actress went to Anna Friel in Marcella, the Int’l Emmy for Drama Series went to Mammon II, and the Int’l Emmy for Telenovela went to Endless Love (Kara Sevda). Other winners include Alan Partridge’s Scissored Isle (Comedy), Sr. Ávila (Non-English U.S. Primetime Program), Exodus (Documentary), Sorry Voor Alles (Non-Scripted Entertainment), The Braun Family (Short-Form Series), and Don’t Leave Me (TV Movie/Mini-Series).
