ABS-CBN named Cecilia Imperial as officer-in-charge (OIC) for the company’s program acquisitions and international sales and distribution divisions. Imperial will continue to work as head of Program Acquisitions for pay TV. Imperial has been part of ABS-CBN for 17 years. In 2007, Imperial began as head of Program Acquisitions, where she led negotiations for the acquisition of content for the company’s cable and sports channels, including the Academy Awards, U.S. Open Tennis, and Ultimate Fighting Championship, among others.

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution hired Yan-Jong Wong as sales director, Asia. Prior to joining TCFTVD, Wong served as vice president of English Content Channels at Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks, Asia. In her new position based out of Singapore, she will be charged with licensing the company’s content across, Pay, SVOD, AVOD, Basic, and Free TV, in addition to scripted format sales for the region.
