MTG extended exclusive media rights to the Kontinental Hockey League for the Nordic region up to 2021. As part of the agreement, beginning with the 2017/2018 season, KHL matches will broadcast on MTG’s ViaSat Hockey channel, available in Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The games will also be broadcast on MTG’s Viaplay streaming service, available in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The upcoming KHL season begins on August 21, 2017, with match between SKA Saint Petersburg and CSKA Moscow.
