Stingray partnered with Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN), Native Communications Inc., and First Peoples Radio (FPR) in Ottawa and Toronto to promote Aboriginal music from Canada. As part of the collaboration, Stingray Music mobile app subscribers have the ability to listen to channels that feature artists from Canada’s First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. Stingray Music is offering two channels, “Aboriginal Music from Canada – Contemporary” and “Aboriginal Music from Canada – Retro,” for worldwide streaming.
