Non-profit screen foundation Australians in Film (AiF) have revealed Cinderella Must Die as the winner of its 2017 GatewayLA Script Development Program.  Written by Penelope Chai and Matteo R. Bernardini, Cinderella Must Die is a reimaging of the Cinderella fable that challenges modern female stereotypes. Chai and Bernardini will receive a $10,000 prize, as well as other amenities such as Los Angeles airfare.
