Econet Media’s Kwesé and ESPN have launched an exclusive ESPN channel for the Kwesé TV bundle. In addition to live sports coverage, the channel will include original programming, such as an African-edition of SportsCenter, to be hosted by Philip Murphy. Kwesé and ESPN plan to launch a version of the ESPN website and mobile app tailored for African audiences. The programming schedule for the channel includes exclusive broadcasts of March Madness, X Games – Norway, and Indy Car 2017, among others.
