AMC Networks International (AMCNI) is increasing its regional growth with new distribution deals and channel launches across Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Iberia, and Africa. AMCNI’s Latin America division has partnered with Sky Mexico to include AMC in the VeTV package. AMCNI has also partnered with DTH platform Claro to launch AMC and El Glourmet in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, and Paraguay. AMCNI has partnered with Slovak Telekom / DIGI Slovakia to provide AMC as a 24-hour linear channel. Through a joint venture between AMCNI Iberia and A+E Networks International, Crime + Investigation is available on the Euskaltel platform in Spain. In addition, AMC has partnered with DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat to boost its distribution in Poland. Earlier, AMCNI inked a long-term agreement with Econet Media to provide AMC through Econet’s pan-African satellite network Kwesé TV.
