Mattel Creations announced at MIPCOM that WellieWishers, a brand new 2D animated series for 5-7 year-old-girls from American Girl, has been picked up by its first European broadcaster, Tiny Pop; a second season of the show has already been greenlit. This deal is part of a series of Mattel properties on the Sony-owned channel, including Barbie Dreamtopia and Monster High. The broadcaster will begin airing WellieWishers in early 2017 and have rights for the next three years.
