Rai Com, along with Planeta Junior, DQ Entertainment and Gruppo Alcuni, has introduced 3D CGI comedy Pio Rocks! – The Series at a special event during this year’s MIPJunior. The series, aimed at 5-8-year-old digital natives follows the adventures of Youtube star Pulcino Pio at music school. The series is the first animation coproduction led by Rai Com, who is also handling sales worldwide, except from Iberia, France, Greece, CEE and Turkey, which are handled by Planeta Junior. Both companies handle U.K. and Latin America sales. In additional Rai Com news, the company has Castalia Communications as its distribution agent for its All’Operaproductions in Latin America. As part of the agreement, Castalia will feature events from the 2016-2017 All’Opera season in Latin American cinema venues.
