Iran’s Visual Media Institute is organizing the fourth edition of the Jasmine International Film Festival. The festival, which will take place October 30 through November 3, will be held in Ramsar, a city in northern of Iran. The festival specifically focuses on feature TV or home video movie productions. The goal of the festival is to encourage cultural diversity and understanding, in the meantime, to provide the opportunity of comparing the quality of the Iranian TV/home video productions with foreign productions. The festival is seeking films specifically made for home video or TV release, that cover family values, environmental protection, struggle against injustice, human rights, spirituality and modern life.
