NBC Olympics has selected Descriptive Video Works to provide video description for its production of the Rio Olympics. Descriptive Video Works will help make NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Rio Olympics accessible to people with visual disabilities through video description (VDS) coverage. 15 primetime telecasts of the Rio Games will feature VDS, in addition to NBC’s Video On Demand offerings of the Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony.
