X-Men director Bryan Singer, The Walking Dead actor Michael Cudlitz and Marcella star Anna Friel are the final names to be announced for the 2016 Edinburgh International Television Festival, which runs August 24-26. Delegates will join a discussion between Singer and chairman/CEO of Fox Networks Group, Peter Rice, as they discuss their careers, their creative partnership, the power of global brands, the relationship between commerce and creators and the future of television. Cudlitz, known for his role as Sergeant Abraham Ford in The Walking Dead, joins producer, Gale Anne Hurd, in a session about how FOX has helped to make this show a global phenomenon. Acclaimed for her role as Detective Sergeant Marcella Backland in ITV’s Marcella, Friel joins Swedish writer Hans Rosenfeldt in a talk about hit dramas Marcella and The Bridge, which feature strong leading roles for women.
