At Fox’s day yesterday at the Television Critics Association 2016 TV Summer Press Tour in Beverly Hills, the network revealed plans for future reboots. Fox announced the desire to create more episodes of The X-Files, the 2017 revival of Prison Break, a new spin on 24 (24: Legacy, slated for February 2017), two new series based on old films (The Exorcist and Lethal Weapon), along with the TV-movie production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (pictured). In addition to the revamped series, Fox announced that Mariah Carey will make a guest appearance on Empire, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl will have a crossover event and Taraji P. Henson and Keegan Michael Key of Empire will be guest voices on the first hour-long The Simpsons episode in January.
