Beat Bugs, an animated series from Thunderbird, Grace: A Storytelling Company and Beyond Screen Productions, debuted on Netflix around the world yesterday (and on Channel 7 in Australia). Inspired by the songs of The Beatles, the show will feature musical artists including Eddie Vedder, P!nk, James Bay, Sia, The Shins, and James Corden, each recording a rendition from the Lennon/McCartney ‘Northern Songs’ catalogue. Beat Bugs tells the story of five adventurous friends, Jay, Kumi, Crick, Buzz, and Walter, who have a knack for getting themselves into mischief and mayhem.
