Insurgent Media has signed a first-look deal with film and television producer Cathy Konrad. Cicada 3301, an espionage thriller series based on the online codebreaking phenomenon of the same name, will be the first project to be developed under the deal. Konrad’s credits include Walk the Line, 310 to Yuma, Girl, Interrupted and Kids. She also currently has two second season shows on air, Zoo for CBS, and Scream for MTV, based on the horror franchise that she developed and produced.
