Keshet International has closed several deals for BBC One drama The A Word (pictured). The series, which portrays a family’s journey with their son, who has been diagnosed with autism, was sold to Canadian national public broadcaster CBC and BBC First Australia. Additionally, the series has been picked up in in Finland (YLE), Iceland (RUV), Croatia (HRT) and Slovenia (RTV). It will also air on pay TV broadcaster YES in Israel. The news follows SundanceTV’s decision to commit to a second season, announced at the recent Television Critics Association press tour. In other Keshet news, Channel Ten in Spain has acquired hidden camera game show Deal With It! The channel will produce a local version of the prank series to air this fall.
