A+E Networks Asia has production on four original Crime + Investigation Asia (C+I) specials as part of a monthly anthology series. The latest installment to the long-running series investigates infamous criminal cases from Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. The specials will feature high-quality dramatic reenactments and real-life interviews. The first episode, Cleansing Kalijodo takes an inside look at a gang-controlled slum that erupts into violence when the brother of one of the gang leaders is killed. Indonesian action star Donny Alamsyah plays the lead detective in the second episode, Drug Runner Lover, about a complicated drug ring with a bizarre love triangle. The Mafia Manager follows a phone scam across international lines, and a fourth episode The Cult of Black Jesus.
