Los Angeles based distribution company ELEVEN ARTS and Toei Animation will release the English language version of anime film Digimon Adventure tri. – Chapter 1: Reunion. The companies have jointly planned a Fathom Events screening in over 300 U.S. movie theaters on September 15, 2016, followed by a multi-city national theatrical release in major cities. Digimon Adventure tri. – Chapter 1: Reunion is the first English language feature film in the internationally popular series. This release is the first Digimon English film to be released in the U.S. since 2000, and picks up six years after Tai and the DigiDestined have entered the Digital World, enduring battles between warring factions.
