Nippon TV is presenting three new unscripted formats, including two debut formats from Gyokuro Studio, the company’s newly established in-house production studio.
Mega Catch is an action-packed game show where players must catch massive flying objects — without dropping them — to win each round and claim the cash prize. Challenges include everything from giant balls falling from the sky to blazing fastballs.
Secret Little Assistant is a kids’ reality format where children secretly sneak into their parents’ workplaces and try to help out without getting caught. The format is based on the success of Nippon TV’s Old Enough!, which has been adapted in Italy, the U.K., Vietnam, China, Singapore, Canada and Mongolia.
Nippon TV is also unveiling Big Bad Bluff, a reality game show format where classic fairy tales like “The Three Little Pigs” turn into twisted mind game: contestants must bluff and outplay one another to get the prize money to be master bluffers.
