Secuoya Studios has secured a first-look deal with American filmmaker Chris Moukarbel for the joint development of original documentaries and unscripted projects.

“Chris’ perspective represents what we value most: powerful, contemporary storytelling, connected to the real world, and with an unmistakable creative identity,” said Brendan Fitzgerald, CEO of Secuoya Studios. “His addition strengthens our commitment to unique, ambitious, and global content.”

Moukarbel’s films combine artistic vision, social sensitivity, and a unique authorial voice that blurs the line between the public and the intimate.

The agreement builds on Secuoya’s track record in documentary production, with titles such as Voices of a City and Sorolla: An Unprecedented View, directed by Curro Sánchez Varela and Pilar Pérez Solano.

This alliance follows recent international partnerships with BlackBox Multimedia (U.K.), Sydney Gallonde (France), 3PAS Studios (Mexico), and Act4 (Iceland).
