• Radial Entertainment, a newly formed global entertainment company managing the FilmRise and Shout! Studios brands, has announced its top leadership appointments.

Melissa Boag (previously EVP at Shout! Studios) has been named as chief marketing officer, Minh Vo (previously general counsel and EVP of Business Affairs at FilmRise) as general counsel and executive VP of Business Affairs, Brian Blum (previously SVP of Video Production and Digital Operations at Shout!) as EVP of Operations, and Thibault Hermenault (previously CTO at FilmRise) as EVP of Technical Services.

Additional appointments include Bill Alexander as SVP of Finance, Jordan Fields as SVP of Content Acquisitions, Lexie Heredia as SVP of Content Investments, Jonitha Keymoore as SVP of Content Acquisitions, CJ Laychak as EVP of Strategic Operations, Jeff Peisch as SVP of Programming & New Business Development, and Jack Samec as head of Corporate Development.

• Seoul-based format agency Something Special has appointed Courtney Boyett as senior manager of Global Sales. Boyett most recently worked in business development at Korea’s Kiwi Vine, focusing on webtoon localization; at Kiwi, she was also a senior webtoon editor.

• BBC Studios has appointed Jon Otto as senior vice president of Ad Sales, North America. He will report to James Wildbore, SVP and general manager of Ad Sales globally, and be based in New York.

Most recently, Otto served as SVP of Client Partnerships and GM of Axios Live, where he led the advertising and sponsorships division.
