ABS-CBN’s ‘A Mother’s Guilt’ Airs On Kanal D

ABS-CBN announced that the first adaptation of its crime drama A Mother’s Guilt aired in Turkey on November 21, 2020, on Kanal D.

Co-produced by ABS-CBN and Limon Yapim, the local version of A Mother’s Guilt stars Özge Özberk and Mert Yazıcıoğlu as the mother and son lead roles. The story follows a single mother whose guilt haunts her after she agrees to a gruesome deal. She must kill a man in exchange for money to pay hospital bills that would save her son’s life. 

Macie Imperial, head of ABS-CBN International Distribution, remarked, “A Mother’s Guilt is a feat not only for ABS-CBN but for the country as well, as it becomes the first original Philippine series to be greenlit for adaptation on Turkish television. It is a testament to the company’s dedication to creating stories that resonate universally.”
