Produced by Francois Odendaal Productions, the Siyaya series explore the national parks and ecosystems of South Africa.

In Portugal, SIC nabbed Fortune Fights for the Caras channel. RTP3 also picked up A Cure for Fear from First Look Media.

U.S. Hispanic broadcaster HITN secured Chile: A Wild Journey, a documentary exploring the South American country.

Spanish-language OTT operator Olympusat bought a package of docs, including The Search for Mona Lisa, The Search for the Last Supper, Siyaya: Come Wild With Us, Siyaya: Wildest Cape, The Art of Nature, and Zapped: The Buzz About Mosquitos.

Scorpion TV’s Carolina Pribanic said, “These deals demonstrate not only that Spanish and Latin viewing taste is changing, but that documentary programming, driven by the SVODs, has evolved into a much more compelling proposition. Scorpion’s carefully curated docs from world-class directors and producers are part of this new wave. They don’t just tell the important stories of our time, but they tell them brilliantly.”
