ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group entered a multi-territory format deal with Fremantle for the CBS original format Tough As Nails.
As part of the agreement, Fremantle picked up the format rights in Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the U.K.
Created by producer Phil Keoghan and his producing partner Louise Keoghan, Tough As Nails is a competition series featuring everyday people who are tested for their strength, endurance, agility, mental toughness, and life skills. The U.S. version is produced by Raquel Productions in association with Tough House Productions.
