AMC Networks’ Acorn TV and Channel 5 ordered Dalgliesh.
Commissioned along with Acorn Media Enterprises and All3media International, the new detective drama will premiere exclusively on Acorn TV in North America, New Zealand, and Australia, and it will broadcast on Channel 5 in the U.K. in 2021. All3media International will distribute the series throughout the rest of the world.
Produced by New Pictures, Dalgliesh is adapted from three of P.D. James best-selling Inspector Dalgliesh Mysteries. Bertie Carvel (pictured) will star as Inspector Adam Dalgliesh as he solves unusual murders and reveals buried secrets.
