ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) confirmed that production wrapped up for police thriller Asesino del Olvido, the adaptation of the Turkish series Persona.
Co-produced between VIS and Ay Yapim, the 10-episode series follows Pascual, a man who is diagnosed with an early stage of Alzheimer’s, as he seeks justice for a crime that happened years ago. Along the way, he will cross paths with Jimena, a detective who is on the trail of mysterious deaths. The series stars Damián Alcázar, Paulina Gaitán, Ari Brickman, and Erik Hayser, among others.
The original Turkish version, Persona, debuted in 2018 on the OTT platform Puhu in Turkey.
