ATV was recognized at the Venice TV Awards as its primetime drama series The Ottoman won in the Best Telenovela category.
Produced by Bozdag Film for ATV, the drama series completed its first season with rating results of a 30 percent share in Turkey. The Ottoman focuses on the first emperor of the state, Osman the first. As a young man, Osman crosses path with the beautiful Bala Hatun, and the two fall in love. Season two will air this October.
The series has been acquired in several international markets.
