Starzplay, the streaming service from Starz, acquired Mindy Kaling’s adaptation of Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Produced by MGM Television and Universal Television, the romantic comedy follows a young communications director, who, after receiving a wedding invitation, travels to London and reconnects with her old friends. The cast includes Natalie Emmanuel, John Reynolds, Rebecca Rittenhouse, and Brandon Mychal Smith, among others.
Four Weddings and Funeral will be available exclusively in the U.K. beginning December 12, 2019.
