German actress and comedienne Maren Kroymann will be presented with the Rose d’Or Lifetime Achievement Award.
Kroymann became the first woman on German TV to host her own regular satire program, Nachtschwester Kroymann (Night Nurse Kroymann), and has since continued her career with over 50 TV and cinema roles. More recently, she launched her satire series, Kroymann, on Das Erste in 2017. Kroymann will be honored during the 58th Rose d’Or Awards, which will be hosted by Sir Lenny Henry on December 1, 2019.
Kroymann remarked, “I am overwhelmed and amazed that I will receive one of the most important international television awards. I am incredibly moved that my work of all these years is being seen and recognized through this award. This recognition means a lot to me.”
