Ireland’s Virgin Media Television commissioned All3media International and Channel 5 for a second season of Blood.
Produced by West Road Pictures in association with Element Pictures and All3media International, the new season of the psychological thriller finds patriarch Jim Hogan, recently stripped of his medical license, returning from abroad to find conflicts among his family. Channel 5 signed on as U.K. broadcaster, while Acorn TV and Acorn Media Enterprises will serve as co-producers for English-language territories, ANZ/U.K., Eire, U.S., and Canada.
All3media International secured licenses for the first season with several European platforms, including NRK in Norway, HRT in Croatia, RUV in Iceland, and VRT in Belgium, among others.
