ABC announced its new programming for the 2019-2020 season.
Emergence, Stumptown, and mixed-ish will premiere this fall. Drama Emergence follows a police chief as she investigates a mysterious accident where she finds a young child with no recollection of what’s happened. Based on the graphic novel series of the same name, Stumptown tells the story of an army veteran with a complicated love life and a brother to take care of.
Spin-off series mixed-ish recounts Rainbow Johnson’s childhood as she grew up in a mixed-race family in the ’80s. Additional pick-ups include The Baker and the Beauty, For Life, United We Fall, and a new iteration of Kids Say the Darndest Things.
