The Venice Biennale confirmed the out-of-competition premiere screening of A Star Is Born to be held tonight during the 75th Venice International Film Festival.
The American musical drama doubles as the directorial debut of Bradley Cooper and feature film debut of pop artist Lady Gaga. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute A Star Is Born internationally.
The Venice Biennale also announced American film editor Bob Murawski as the winner of the Campari Passion for Film Award. The new award honors the contributions of directors of photography, editors, composers, and production designers.
