U.K. broadcaster Channel 5 ordered Drug Wars (w/t) from VICE Studios.
The four-part series examines drug use across the U.K., featuring the stories from users as well as their families. Guy Davies, Factual commissioning editor, remarked, “VICE Studios has a unique storytelling voice which appeals to younger audiences. With cutting edge journalism and unrivalled access we are really pleased to be working with them once again.”
Channel 5 previously commissioned the three-part series Britain’s Cocaine Epidemic.
