BBC Studios appointed Ralph Lee as director of Content. Most recently, Lee served as interim chief creative officer at Channel 4, before which he was deputy chief creative officer.
He brings 25 years of experience in the U.K.’s production sector. In his new position, Lee will be responsible for BBC Studios Production’s creative and editorial strategy in the U.K., and for overall production management.
Lee commented, “With depth and richness across multiple genres, BBC Studios already has fantastic creative credentials, and I am looking forward to working with everyone there to realize our future ambitions and take our output from strength to strength.”
