MGM acquired Big Fish Entertainment.
As an MGM company, Big Fish will continue to be run by its founder and president Dan Cesareo. The acquisition expands MGM’s roster of unscripted production division led by Mark Burnett, president of Television Group & Digital at MGM. Founded in 2006, Big Fish has produced several series, including A&E’s Live PD (pictured), VH1’s Black Ink Crew, WE tv’s Hustle & Soul, and TLC’s Tattoo Girls, among others.
Big Fish will continue to be based in New York City.
