WGN America acquired two new series, Carter and Gone (pictured), for its Prime Crime lineup of procedural dramas.
Carter follows Harley Mackay, an actor whose has played a detective on a Hollywood show, as he becomes a real detective with his best friends. Sony Pictures Television handles international distribution for the series. Distributed by NBCUniversal, Gone tells the story of Kit Lannigan, a survivor of a child-abduction case. Kit is recruited by Frank Novak, the FBI investigator who rescued her, to join a special task force.
Carter will premiere on WGN America on August 7, 2018, while Gone will premiere in early 2019.
